What does that mean? Good question, I had to keep playing with the phrasing. I create the space for people to be. Be what? I be themselves, to see themselves, to be happy, to be sad, to be angry. If you stop and think about how many times in your life are you able to be yourself, truly yourself. Often we get stopped by how we should behave in public or at work or with your family. Sometimes we have to be a different way with different groups of people, different with our parents, different with people at work, different with your in-laws. Do you ever forget who you are?
As I said this hit me like a ton of bricks and it felt great! I felt alive, energized - I knew who I was. I knew my purpose in life.
My first epiphany happened many, many years ago. Over the years I forgot who I was. I forgot my reason. There were moments when I remembered and got involved again. I learned Reiki and became a Reiki Master Teacher. I practiced reading Tarot cards and Oracle cards and listening to the Universe again. Life would happen, I would get distracted and I would forget.
Over the last year or so, I became a part of a great discussion group, psychic mediums who were also getting in touch with their gifts and purpose. I started to have little glimpses, insights into who I am and why I'm here. I'm back in the saddle again. I have had the full blown Ah-ha moment again. Instead of hiding, I'm taking this mission head on. I know who I am, I know why I'm here. I create the space for people to be. I help people see a different perspective.
